Taxi Barcelona zona Alta

Barcelona’s “uptown” (zona alta) covers various neighbourhoods located in the mountainous part of the city: the sumptuous Pedralbes and the Tibidabo, and the Bohemian neighbourhood of Gracia. But what most make this area stand out areits 15 parks: The most attractive ones are Gaudí’s Parc Güell and the colossal Parc de Collserola, which extends like a bright green carpet over Mount Tibidabo.

Gracia is regarded as the most cosmopolitan neighbourhood in Barcelona: its strong political tradition and its Gypsy community, so rooted to the life in the city, have always drawn the attention of artists and writers. Now there are plenty of boutiques and bars, and the plazas light up with life at night. The Tibidabo Amusement Park, which can be accessed through a one-century-old funicular, is located at the top of the Tibidabo (517m) and began to run in 1908. Among its many vertiginous attractions we can find quaint and old inventions, like the carousel and the Ferris wheel.Within the same premises is the Museo dels Autómatas.
